The application is open to artists aged 18 years or over who are based within the Greater Los Angeles Area. There’s also 2 cash prizes, which will be selected by a panel of six voices from Los Angeles and San Francisco—art historians, curators, creative directors, designers, collectors, and artists working across craft and contemporary practice.
– THE FRANCIS AWARD ($15,000 for abstract painting)
– THE CLARA AWARD ($15,000 for figurative painting)
