Volunteer as docents at LACMA

For the first time, the docent program will have a shorter, adjusted timeline for training, making it possible to participate if you are a student. University of North Texas Grad Open Studios

Please join us for our M.F.A open studio event on October 22 from 4:30pm – 6:30pm. This year’s open studio event will be the first in our newly constructed studio building. Our students are excited to share their work and practices with you! See work from graduate students working in ceramics, drawing and painting, metalsmithing and jewelry, new media, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.

Servocacy Fest 10/14

In hope of promoting sustained service and advocacy efforts among Bruins, USAC’s Community Service Commission is organizing SERVOCACY FEST this Friday, October 14 from 1pm to 3pm at Bruin Plaza!

The event will feature 15 student groups who will each host interactive activities and games for you to find out more about important social justice issues as well as relevant resources or opportunities for you to get started on service. Some of the activities include making origami for care packages designed for the houseless community, writing cards for the patients of St Jude, learning about educational disparities, neurodiversity, the brain injury community, issues regarding incarceration and more.
