The event is the first-ever CAC short film, writing, and music contest, designed to promote creativity among students. Harvard Westlake Artist Call

The Harvard-Westlake School was recently endowed with a generous gift from art philanthropist and alumna, Arlene Schnitzer. Through this endowment, we are charged to bring fresh artist voices into our school community, culminating in a month-long gallery show in the 670-square foot, Arlene Schnitzer Gallery, and a 30-40-minute artist talk to our middle school community in addition to a mini workshop with students. We are accepting proposals from emerging artists in Los Angeles whose work deals with identity and equity. Artists working in all media may apply.  (more…)
