UCLA’s Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP) is seeking to hire undergraduates to service high-need high schools throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Our program’s mission is to deliver personalized, knowledgeable guidance on college admissions and financial aid to low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented high school students.
As members of a statewide movement, EAOP Bruin Advisors will receive training on how to empower students in disinvested communities to explore their college options. Bruin Advisors are compensated at $20/hour and must be available a minimum of 1-2 days per week (M-F) between the hours of 8am-3pm each quarter. We are currently recruiting UCLA undergraduate students for the 2024-2025 academic year. The application deadline is Friday, May 31st at 5PM and interviews will start early July. In 2025, the Vilcek Foundation will award three prizes of $50,000 in each category to early and mid-career immigrant artists and curators whose work demonstrates a unique achievement and exceptional ability. The deadline to apply is June 10, 2024.

The Vilcek Prizes for Creative Promise in Curatorial Work:
- Curators and art historians who have curated individual or group exhibitions for public or private institutions including museums, galleries, nonprofit organizations, corporate collections, private collections, for art fairs, or in independent practice are encouraged to apply. Curators must have 5 years of professional experience and must be living and working in the United States.
Eligibility Requirements:
- To be eligible, candidates must have been born outside of the United States to non-American parents, and must be living and working in the United States. Candidates must have been born after January 1, 1986.
