Poster Day 2024

Poster Day 2024 hosted by the Undergraduate Interdisciplinary Research Association (UIRA) is a UCLA-wide opportunity for undergraduate researchers to present their interdisciplinary research through poster presentations in a public forum. Creating such a space allows undergraduate students to cultivate skills necessary for a future career in research, including effective public speaking, scientific communication and productive cross-disciplinary discourse. Additionally, the event opens opportunities for interdisciplinary researchers to connect and build a community.

     The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the Shelter Cove Arts and Recreation Foundation (SCARF) are excited to announce applications are being accepted for the Spring 2024 session of the King Range National Conservation Ares (King Range NCA) Artist in Residence (AiR) program. The residency will offer an inspirational and unique 4-weeks on California’s remote Lost Coast for an artist to interpret public lands through art.

This year, our three-day event is taking place on Week 4, Wednesday – Friday (January 31st to February 2nd)! We aim to educate the UCLA community about the houseless population, provide students with an understanding on housing policy and advocacy in California, and an opportunity to directly serve the houseless communities in Los Angeles.
