Wazo Connect Peer Mentorship at UCLA

Tuesday, January 31st, 2023

Wazo Connect is a peer mentorship organization at UCLA that aims to improve mental health on campus by hand-matching students with trained, personalized peer mentors. All our mentors are trained by CAPS, CARE, GRIT, LGBTQ+ Center, and Psychology professors.

All majors and years are welcome and no experience needed! Mentors are then hand-picked to help their mentees feel comforted and connected to campus life. We want to provide a safe space for students who are stressed, lonely, or overwhelmed to receive emotional support and reconnect them to the UCLA community. We also host Wazo Wellness events throughout the quarter featuring yoga, dance, mindfulness, painting, and more! If you’d like to learn more about Wazo and/or sign up to be a mentor or mentee, visit our website (wazoconnect.com) or send us an email (wazo.contact@gmail.com)!
