Arunashi is looking for an intern who is able to take a piece of our jewelry and pair it with:
– Appropriate art through the various genres
– We would provide direction and guidelines on the theme and stories we are seeking however they will need to present ideas. I will further discuss the project with them.
– Must be able to commit to a 20 hour minimum commitment weekly – and a one month contract.
– Then create an illustration of the ideas with the piece of jewelry
– Bonus – if they are able to connect this visually through water color illustrations
– Bonus – as well as through poems and stories through various genres (Not required but helpful)
– This is a project based with several jewelry pieces that need to be matched up and is an ongoing project.
– Compensation based on graduate level/experience and timeliness completion of project.$20-$45/ hour

(more…)The Program and Communications Intern will work closely with the Program Director and Program and Communications Manager on some of the Alliance’s key programs and projects, such as the Student Voices Campaign, the Arts Now Campaign, Arts Now Communities, and the 2021 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) scans. The intern will focus on various aspects and different stages of these programs and projects, including research, communication strategies, content creation, project management, and data collection; they will have the opportunity to learn about school funding policy, grassroots advocacy, non-profit communications and public engagement. This position will work approximately 20-30 hours a week from August through December.
The Hammer Museum offers year-long internships to UCLA undergraduate students that develop students’ capacity for professional-level museum service. In the 2021/2022 academic year the Hammer Museum will offer several year-long 9-credit internships (3 credits per quarter) to selected UCLA undergraduate students. The internships will begin in the beginning of the Fall 2021 quarter, and proceed until the end of the spring 2022 quarter. Interns will be selected from a pool of applicants on the basis of academic record and career interest. To receive credit, interns are required to complete a minimum of 75 hours per quarter.
Work will be conducted in accordance with UCLA’s COVID-19 policies. Applicants must be available to report to work in person but may not need to do so until onsite work resumes.

below, as well as a resume, and a copy of their transcripts (or Degree Progress Report). Application
