Each May, the UCLA Emeriti/Retirees Relations Center hosts an exhibit featuring creative work from retired UCLA faculty and staff. The event celebrates their “second acts” and highlights how lifelong creativity supports well-being, connection, and purpose.
This year, we would love to engage a UCLA student photographer to capture the exhibit and the meaningful interactions between our retirees and the campus community. It’s a wonderful opportunity for a student to build their portfolio, gain event experience, and connect with an inspiring intergenerational audience.
We can offer a small stipend, lunch, and photo credit in our publications and website.
The exhibit will be on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the UCLA University Club (formerly Faculty Club). If you are interested, or know a student who might be, please reach out to Lam Luu at lluu@errc.ucla.edu.
