I’m seeking an illustrator to collaborate on a children’s picture book series. “Mixed With Love” focuses on identity, family, and belonging. The first book follows a six-year-old girl celebrating her blended family, culture, and individuality. Prior children’s book experience is not required.
Project Details:
- 32 page(16 spreads) full-color picture book
- Ongoing collaboration for future books in the series
- Flexible timeline (looking to have project completed by June/July)
Open to discussing fair and appropriate compensation. (Advances, royalties, contracts outlining ownerships, etc.)
Looking for an illustrator who:
- Enjoys children’s storytelling, easy to work with and is open to creative direction for characters.
- Creates expressive, warm, and inclusive artwork
- Can deliver digital files suitable for print
