College, Graduate Student and High School Awards
Application Deadline: November 15, 2023
The James Alan Cox Foundation will be awarding five (5) undergraduate photojournalism scholarships/awards, payable to the student’s university, for the students’ tuition, housing or other educational purposes in the amount of $2,500 each:
-4 for video
-1 for still photography
Additional awards include:
– (1) or two (2) $1,500 Honorable Mention scholarships will be awarded to one (1) or two (2) college or graduate students.
-(5) high-end digital cameras that will be awarded to five (5) high school students for still photography.
The deadline is November 15, 2023. Everything can be done online.

Jim Cox, a photojournalist for KTVK-3TV in Arizona, was killed in the media helicopter collision over Phoenix 15 years ago.
This is our way of honoring him – a very talented man and beloved son, brother, and friend.
