Job Opportunity – College Adviser Fellow

UCLA’s Early Academic Outreach Program is looking to hire graduating seniors or recently graduated students to work as College Adviser Fellows in partnership with local high schools.

UCLA Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP) has recently launched a chapter of College Advising Corps (CAC), the nation’s largest college access nonprofit. CAC is devoted to giving every student the opportunities that college offers. CAC focuses on post-secondary enrollment and completion among low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented high school students by delivering personalized, knowledgeable guidance on college admission, financial aid, and enrollment.

The Destination College Advising Corps @ UCLA seeks to hire undergraduates who have recently graduated to serve as college advisers in high-need high schools. As members of a national movement, Destination College Advising Corps (DCAC) college advisers will help students in underserved communities realize their dreams of attending college. We are currently recruiting graduating and recent graduates for the 2023-2024 academic year.

You can find the application and a registration link for our information sessions on our website – www.eaop.ucla.edu/dcac. You can also register by clicking on the image below.

This is a great opportunity for recent graduates to develop leadership skills, give back to the greater Los Angeles community and to help propel the next generation of college goers. If you have any questions please feel free to email us at dcacatucla@eaop.ucla.edu.
