SPACE on Ryder Farm – Residency Program

SPACE on Ryder Farm, a nonprofit residency program and organic farm located on the grounds of a 226-year-old family homestead in Putnam County, NY, is accepting applications for four programs for its 2022 residency season: The Working Farm writers’ group for playwrights, composers, lyricists and librettists; The Family Residency for working parents and their children ages 5-12; BLKSPACE for Black creatives whose work forwards Black Liberation; and The Institutional Residency for organizations and incorporated ensembles in need of time and space.

The Greenhouse Residency for aspiring playwrights or theater writers is by nomination only. Due to outstanding 2020 deferments related to the COVID-19 pandemic, SPACE will not be opening applications for the 2022 Creative Residency, Film Lab, or Season Extension. SPACE expects to open applications for all 2023 programs in Fall 2022.

Applications for all programs are due by 11:59 P.M. ET, January 5, 2022. Additional information and applications are available at www.spaceonryderfarm.org/residency-programs.
