Applications for our Mini Maxi Print Open Call are accepted until July 30th, 2021. We encourage any of your professional or upcoming artists to apply.
We have featured a number of American graphic artists in our past Mini Maxi Print Exhibitions, including:
- Kyle Chaput (Assistant Professor of Art, Printmaking and Drawing at Baylor)
- Brandon Williams (Assistant Professor at Belmont University)
- Brenton Good (Associate Professor of Art, Messiah College)
- Scott Fisk (Professor and Chair Art, Samford University)
- David Avery
We welcome all artists to apply, but are hoping to increase the number of female American artists applying.
Our gallery also hosts special short-term projects like our current exhibition, “Optimisation”, showcasing the life and works of American architect Peyton Abbott. Abbott’s career includes 25 years as Senior Associate at the firm of his mentor, Mies van der Rohe, urban development projects, large-scale, mixed-use complexes in the U.S. and Canada, and Project Architect for numerous buildings in downtown Chicago.
Galleri Heike Arndt DK also has a fantastic international Artist Residency at our gallery in Kettinge, Denmark. An important aim for us is to arrange workshops at our residency, both for the artists-in-residencies and other invited artists. In 2019, Galleri Heike Arndt DK welcomed American printmaker and Professor Emeritus of the Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University, Richard Hricko, to be our ArtLab Resident in Kettinge.
