JOB DESCRIPTION: The UCLA Institute of Transportation Studies and Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies is seeking a design student assistant. This position is a good opportunity to develop hands-on experience in design, marketing, branding, and PR. You will design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, reports, briefs, annual reports, social media graphics, and other communication materials. This position is in two research centers that focus on transportation, the environment, economic development, and housing.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High creativity and excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and dependability are a MUST. Ability to follow instructions and work independently, and quickly produce pieces for time-strapped projects. Demonstrated ability in working with Adobe Creative Suite, in particular InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Experience with animation and videos a plus. Good communication skills to interact with faculty, staff, and students.
