STUDIO INTERN – PRODUCTION
Kaari Upson Studio is currently seeking two Studio Interns to work in studio on ongoing projects.
Primary responsibilities include:
– Providing as needed assistance and support on large-scale sculptures
– Cleaning and organizing work areas
Ideal candidates would be:
– Available two to three days a week, between Monday and Friday, from 9:30 am – 5:30 pm
– Have ready access to a car
– Self-starting approach to tasks
– Ability to multitask or switch tasks on short notice
– Experience with sculpture making
Compensation:
– $13 / hour
– Lunch provided
– Instruction on materials and processes used as a part of the Studio practice (e.g. aqua resin, latex casting, etc.)
– Mileage reimbursement for any travel using a personal vehicle to do specific tasks related to primary responsibilities
– (If applicable) Studio support to complete paperwork for school credit
Ideal start date is June 1, 2018.
