Working Title: Library Development Student Assistant
Pay Rate: $12.00/hr

Duties: Student assistant will work closely with the Development Coordinator and the rest of the Library Development team to perform database work including data entry, running reports/queries, build and update databases, assist with specific event needs, running research and development and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Knowledge: Applicants for this position MUST be part of UCLA’s work study program. Demonstrated experience working in an office environment performing basic clerical tasks such as typing, filing and answering phones. Excellent interpersonal skills and sensitivity to protocols for handling confidential personal and financial data and documents is required. Skill in using databases and the Microsoft Windows operating system on a PC with speed and accuracy is required. Should be articulate and have good grammatical and punctuation skills. Ability to lift 30-40 lbs. and work occasional evenings in relation to special events.
