Seeking Interns – Spring/Break Art Show

Friday, February 1st, 2019

The Spring/Break Art show is seeking interns. At the NYC show, we take on both paid interns and volunteers, so it can be a good position for recent grads as well. We need help with Art Handling, Curatorial Logistics, Guest Relations, and other areas. The show is shaping up to include an amazing list of artists and arts organizations, so would be a great learning and networking opportunity for young artists. The show will run from February 15th to the 17th, but we will also need help for install and deinstall of the show. So possible working days would be February 10th to February 18th during day time hours. We’re, of course, happy to work with school and work schedules where necessary. Compensation would be based on a commitment and experience.

Storytelling at UCLA – Board Member Positions

Thursday, November 29th, 2018

We are Storytelling at UCLA, a program dedicated to sharing stories through various creative media (prose, poetry, paintings, graphical art, photography, etc.) with a centralized theme each year. Some previous themes include gender expression and mental health. At the end of the year, we compile them into a physical book which is distributed among the UCLA community.

This year the theme for submission is 10 Years, and however you want to interpret the theme it’s entirely up to you.

We are currently looking for board members, including Content Editors, Graphics Editor, and Finance Coordinator. If you are passionate about telling stories from the community for the community, and if you are seeking leadership and/or editing experience, apply to these positions with links down below.
