An independent feature film, Alchemy in Venice (alchemyinvenice.com), and we’re seeking a visual artist to collaborate on a key artistic element in the film.
The piece will be a contemporary re-envisioning inspired by Seurat’s Sunday in the Park — interpreted through the lens of our photographer character. In the scene, he captures a modern Venice Beach gathering and transforms it into a large-scale artwork using packaging bubbles as a tactile form of pointillism — turning consumer material into fine art.
We’re looking for an artist excited by:
• Mixed media
• Material experimentation (bubble wrap / texture)
• Environmental or transformation themes
• Reinterpreting classical art language in a contemporary context
This is a credit-based collaboration. While we’re unable to offer monetary compensation, the artwork will:
• Appear on-screen in a featured sequence
• Receive on-screen credit
• Be included in press outreach related to the film
• Be eligible for IMDb credit
• Remain owned by the artist (licensed to the film)
We’re seeking someone whose aesthetic aligns with the film’s themes of transformation, sustainability, and creative reinvention.
