The EBELL + LA Festival is a free, all-ages arts and culture festival taking place during Women’s History Month. This immersive experience invites the entire community to engage with live performance, interactive art, women’s history, and LA-based cultural organizations across The Ebell’s historic campus (created in 1927).
Festival Highlights Include:
- A juried art exhibition by contemporary artists (submission information below)
- Historic costume/clothing exhibit
- Opportunities to explore a historic LA landmark
- Vintage fashion marketplace
- Self-guided film history tour
- Live dance, choral, and music performances
- Interactive art and cultural workshops (calligraphy, screen printing, Hanbok fashion show, etc.)
- Fantastic food trucks plus a wine and mocktail bar
- For younger audiences, We Can Do It – a musical exploring Rosie the Riveter and women’s labor history as well as the Bob Baker Marionette Theatre.
