Bruin Run/Walk is a student-run organization under the UCLA Student Wellness Commission. Each spring, we host a 5K Run/Walk on campus. This year’s theme is Slumber Party, so we encourage participants to attend in their pajamas!
The Bruin Run/Walk 5K supports The Painted Turtle, a camp in Lake Hughes, California for children with chronic illnesses and their families. The 5k event brings together nearly 1000 students, UCLA faculty, and members of the greater LA community in support of this meaningful cause. For 25 years, Bruin Run/Walk has been a proud UCLA tradition, raising over $75,000 for our beneficiary!
Bruin Run/Walk 5K 2026 will take place April 19th, with check-in beginning at 7:00AM at Wilson Plaza. Registration is open now and can be found on our website: https://www.bruinrunwalk.com/. Prices will increase the closer the race date becomes, with the first increase on 2/22/2026.
