The Dortort Center for Creativity in the Arts (Across the street from UCLA on Hilgard Ave) is hosting its annual Student Fine Art Show where students have the opportunity to win a $1,000 or $500 prize and have their work exhibited and juried by art professionals.
This year’s exhibit will be curated by artist Cathy Weiss and juried by Peter Frank.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students to have their work shown and compete for a monetary prize. An awards ceremony will be held to announce and honor the winners on Thursday, May 29, from 6-8 pm.
The deadline to submit work by email to our curator (cathyweissink@gmail.com) is Friday, April 11.
