Faculty Positions in Studio Art at Tulane University

The Newcomb Art Department at Tulane University in New Orleans is currently seeking candidates to fill two full-time faculty positions in Studio Art: an Assistant Professor in Digital Art and a Professor of Practice in Photography.

The Newcomb Art Department is at an exciting point in its trajectory and is committed to reflecting the transnational networks of the contemporary art world while building our connections to our culturally diverse and profoundly creative home of New Orleans. We are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate, in their practice or teaching, a commitment to artistic creation as a way to represent and empower diverse and intersectional identities. Successful candidates will bring a vibrant studio practice, demonstrate innovation in response to ever-evolving fields, possess the ability to teach a range of undergraduate studio courses, and show an interest in curriculum development, creative research, and collaborative leadership.
