Job Description: Photography and Design Assistant
Location: Downtown LA (Event) and Westwood Studio
Dates: October 5-6, 2024 (Event), with occasional studio work
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Photography and Design Assistant to support an upcoming event in Downtown Los Angeles on October 5 and 6, 2024, and provide occasional assistance at a studio in Westwood. This role is perfect for a graduate student or upperclassman in design, photography, or the arts looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with photography and design tasks during the event on October 5 and 6 in Downtown LA.
- Support studio work, including setting up equipment, organizing materials, and assisting with photo shoots.
- Provide creative input and assist in editing and retouching photos.
- Help with organizing and managing digital assets.
- Collaborate with the lead photographer and design team to ensure smooth workflow during events and studio sessions.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and creativity.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in design, photography, or the arts.
- Strong knowledge of photography principles, camera equipment, and lighting setups.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator) and Canva
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability for the event dates and occasional studio work.
- Passion for creativity and a strong eye for visual composition.
