• General : College students (including graduate students), general public, companies
• Youth : Elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as youth under 18 years old

  • Individual or group entries of up to 4 members are allowed (up to 2 works per entry).
  • In the case of group entries, designate one main designer and up to three co-designers.
  • One certificate will be awarded per entry (however, all participants can receive an entry confirmation and award history regardless of certificate designation).

  • Including designers invited/recommended to Busan International Industrial Design Exhibition.

Open Theme
Designs in the following categories that can provide inspiration for the creation and development of industrial design, enhance the competitiveness of products, and contribute to the development of related industries

1) Communication and Service Design Category:

  • Communication design including advertising, graphics, Cl (Corporate Identity), Bl (Brand Identity), video, multimedia content, etc., as well as service design encompassing shared value, social innovation design, and more.

2) Product Design and Environmental Design Category:

  • Product design covering consumer goods, public goods, industrial goods, etc., and environmental design including architecture, public design, and more.

3) Craft Design and Fashion Design Category:

  • Craft design involving metal, ceramics, woodworking, painting, textiles, etc., and fashion design encompassing clothing, accessories, and more.

Entry Fee
General Division :
(1) College Students (including graduate students), General Public: Free
(2) Companies: 100,000 KRW per entry (to be paid for each submission, for online submissions)
Youth Division: Free

  • Series will be counted as one entry.

  • Orientation: No distinction between landscape and portrait, up to 2 panels

[Offline Physical Submission Specifications]
(1) Flat Exhibits (Required)

• Submit 2 pieces of Al size (590mm • 840mm • 5mm) foam board (Woodlock).
• Modifications to the images submitted online are not allowed.
• Prohibited to include information revealing the entrant’s identity, background, or affiliation.

(2) Three-dimensional Exhibits (Optional)

• POP, CIP, Packaging Design:

  • Three-dimensional model within a display area of 900mm • 900mm • 900mm or less.
    • Multimedia Content, Video Exhibits:
  • Submit the finished product in USB format.
  • For web design, up to 20 pages; for video design, up to 5 minutes.
    • Product, Environmental, Craft, and Fashion Design Exhibits:
  • Three-dimensional exhibit within a display area of 1,000mm • 1,000mm • 2,000mm or less.
  • Mannequins are allowed for fashion design entries, but must be provided by the entrant.

Cautions
[Submission Restrictions]

• Entries deemed to be imitative.
• Entries deemed harmful to public order or morals.
• Entries not meeting the production specifications specified in the guidelines.
• Entries that have won awards in domestic or international competitions at the time of submission.

  • Winning entries under the above criteria will have their accolades and prize money revoked.
