Apply now for the Robert S. Michaels Leadership in Service Award for the academic year 2024-2025! Formerly known as the USAC Community Service Scholarship, this award recognizes outstanding individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in integrating service into their UCLA experience.
Named in honor of Robert S. Michaels, former USAC President and a passionate advocate for community service, this award celebrates students who have made significant contributions to their communities. Each recipient will be granted $1000, distributed through their BAR account over Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters of the 2024-2025 school year. Additionally, the selected student will have the opportunity to allocate an additional $250 to a UCLA Registered Campus Organization (RCO) of their choice, in honor of the late John H. We encourage all current UCLA undergraduate students, excluding graduating seniors, to apply for this award. The application process highlights community service activities pursued during the applicant’s undergraduate career, both within and outside of UCLA organizations and departments.
