Call for Art Submissions!
The Medical Dialogue Review is a peer-reviewed, healthcare-oriented student publication which seeks to bridge the boundaries between diverse disciplines and achieve a profound understanding of medicine and the humanities. MDR is an international publication with student writers and artists contributing from universities across the US and other countries around the world.
We are currently accepting artworks for our Spring 2024 issue!
We welcome artistic media of all forms (e.g. drawings, paintings, digital art, photography, film, etc) especially relevant to health, medicine, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences.
• Pieces not directly related to health or medicine (such as abstract art and anything related to general human experience) are also welcome, and we are happy to accept multiple submissions.
Some of our topics for this issue include:
– Digital interventions for treating symptoms of mental disorders
– Role of nutrition in the hospital setting
– Gene switches and their relation to psychiatric disorders
– The transformative impact of artificial intelligence in medicine
• We ask that all artworks are submitted by March 13th at 11:59 PM EST. Submissions can be emailed as attachments to Ashley, our Creative Coordinator (ayk9838@nyu.edu).
If you have any questions, please email ayk9838@nyu.edu or medicaldialogue@gmail.com. We look forward to seeing all of your amazing submissions!
