Curatedcare.com is a creative online platform that lets inspiring sitters market their unique talents & souped-up babysitting skills to families in LA. Join a platform that is full of performers, artists, teachers, athletes and more who LOVE sharing their passions and talents with kiddos and their fams.
We are an invite-only marketplace where you create your own profile and set your rates/individual offerings, which then lets you receive job requests through the site & app for one-off or recurring babysitting gigs, private lessons, & more! If you’re looking to pick up sporadic gigs, we’ve got fams looking for date night sitters one-off sessions, and if you’re wanting a weekly, 1-5 day recurring after school pick up schedule, we have requests for those too! Normally there is a one-time, $39 activation fee, but if you mention that you are a current UCLA student, that fee will be waived! 🙂
Some specifics:
– QUALIFICATIONS: at least 18 years old, with a minimum of 2 years of professional (paid) babysitting experience outside of one’s own family/relatives, excellent at communicating promptly and with enthusiasm, and a knack for brightening kiddos’ days! Any additional kiddo experience in classrooms, camps, or other group settings is a bonus. We’re looking for individuals who bring their own supplies/fun ideas and games to sessions to elevate what it means to be a babysitter, we’re looking for KID EXPERTS!
– RATES: $22-30/hr for regular Babysitting, depending on the number of kids, and $50-75/hr for Private Lessons/Enrichment. Our outside the home events and group classes are generally within both of those ranges as well. 🙂
– FEES: For each invoice sent through the site there is a 4.25%, or $4.25 minimum, service fee that covers processing fees and continued access to the site/CC customer support.
– LOCATIONS OF FAMS: In LA, families are located primarily in North and West LA (Culver City, Calabasas, Hollywood, and Santa Monica etc). Since you are able to directly communicate with fams, always feel welcome to discuss their location, hours needed, and any other important details before accepting or declining a booking request! ***To note, it is very helpful if you have a car/mode of transportation!
