Call for Artists: Medical Dialogue Review

The Medical Dialogue Review is a peer-reviewed, healthcare-oriented student publication at NYU which seeks to bridge the boundaries between diverse disciplines and achieve a profound understanding of medicine and the humanities. Our previous issues can be found here.

We are currently accepting artworks for our Fall 2023 issue from students within and beyond the NYU community!

We welcome artistic media of all forms (e.g. drawings, paintings, digital art, photography, videos, etc) especially relevant to health, medicine, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences.

• Pieces not directly related to health or medicine (such as abstract art and anything related to general human experience) are also welcome, and we are happy to accept multiple submissions.

Some of our topics for this issue include:

– Cancer and Disturbed Circadian Rhythms

– Gut Dysbiosis and Therapeutic Treatment of Diseases

– The Transformative Power of Artificial Intelligence

– A Pathway to Preventing Diabetes

⁃ Post-Pandemic Grief

Submissions are due on Sunday, October 22nd and can be emailed as attachments to Ashley, our Creative Coordinator (ayk9838@nyu.edu).

Please feel free to email medicaldialogue@gmail.com or ayk9838@nyu.edu with any questions. We look forward to seeing all of your amazing submissions!
