UCLA BruinCorps is a tutoring outreach program that hires work-study students to provide tutoring across the greater Los Angeles area in elementary, middle schools and high schools. Our tutors provide in-class or after school tutoring in English/Language Arts or Math in one-on-one or small group settings. Our mission is to not only give back to the Los Angeles community, but also to foster a sense of commitment to community service and provide civic engagement and leadership opportunities for UCLA undergraduate students. Through service and professional development opportunities, UCLA BruinCorps develops student leaders on campus.
UCLA BruinCorps is the largest work-study program on campus hiring over 100 work-study students annually. We are currently recruiting work-study students from a variety of fields for the 2023-24 academic year. This is a great opportunity for undergraduate students to develop leadership skills, give back to the greater Los Angeles community and build a sense of community on campus. The final application deadline is Friday, May 5th.
