The Department of Art, Design and Art History is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor, tenure-track position. This position will teach and develop an extensive creative activities and professional agenda in Art Theory and act as Director for the Center for Creativity and the Arts (CCA).
The CCA is an important generative part of the creative atmosphere of our campus and serves as a vital nexus point, connecting arts of all forms with our campus and regional community. Linking our campus with international artists and exhibitions important to social concerns, it generates exposure to and involvement in enriching experiences, as well as creating programming that places the University as a destination for local artists and community members.
The Director will provide directorial and managerial oversight by serving as the administrative lead for the CCA and will be responsible for providing operational and financial leadership, strategic programming, program management, developing and maintaining budgets, as well as annual reports.
