Graphic Designer: Branded Content

Clique Brands—​the rapidly growing digital media and commerce company behind the popular sites WhoWhatWear.com, Byrdie.com, MyDomaine.com, @Obsessee, and CollegeFashionista — ​is hiring ​a Graphic Designer. This role will ​help produce, guide and support the creation of multi-layered, narrative-led campaigns that span traditional media, digital advertising and immersive brand experiences.
The ideal candidate ​should be passionate about the fashion/beauty space and have a keen eye for photography, design, typography. ​You have worked with brands and agencies and are ​familiar with current design trends and best practices for digital and print.
This position is located in Los Angeles and reports to the Branded Content Art Director.
Job Responsibilities:

● Digital graphic design for beauty, fashion, lifestyle and luxury clients across Clique Brands’ properties, including; Who What Wear, Byrdie, MyDomaine and Obsessee.

● Digital graphic design for beauty, fashion, lifestyle and luxury clients across Clique Brands’ properties, including; Who What Wear, Byrdie, MyDomaine and Obsessee.

● Create beautiful editorial style layouts combining typography and imagery for branded content native stories in collaboration with our editors.

● Design immersive online advertising, digital hubs, dedicated emails, homepage takeovers, video and static ad units while working with multiple brands and adapting them to the Clique Brands aesthetic while retaining the client’s native branding.

● Create innovative website designs.

● Work in collaboration with our creative director and branded content editorial team to develop visual concepts and create engaging story pitch decks, blogger briefs andvideo/photo creative decks for custom video, photography and social content

.● Work with sales, strategy and marketing teams to develop innovative ideas, pitch decks and pre-sale mocks to target, attract and secure growth in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle space.

● Working within brand guidelines and templates as well as developing new visual concepts for our bigger pitches/campaigns and innovative current designs.

● Digital and print production: cropping and photo retouching, creating print ready mechanical files and sourcing stock images.

● Social media graphics and innovative advertising for Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Qualifications:

·​ ​Adaptable and able to shift priorities and be vigilant about keeping projects moving forward to hit deadlines.

·​ ​Experience working with project management software like Asana, Jira, Slack, Basecamp or Trello.

·​ ​Able to effectively multitask, work quickly, creative problem solve and prioritize.

·​ ​Understand overall printing process and production techniques.

·​ ​Maintain great production quality with print and digital materials.

·​ ​Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Digital, Photography, Typography and Keynote.

·​ ​Knowledge of AE or Premiere a plus

·​ ​Refined sense of typography. Maintain great production quality with print and digital materials.

·​ ​Strong ability to self-manage

Education & Experience:

·​ ​BS/BA/BFA in Graphic Design or similar experience
