I hope you are well and having a great week. I am trying to reach the Fine Art Department at your school to announce an innovative Art Project taking place early 2018 in Los Angeles, Color LA .
Local property management company, Metros Capital, is launching an initiative to revolutionize the way that Angelenos interact with their environment through creativity, inspiration and expression in the residential space. ColorLA is currently seeking local artists working in all mediums to submit proposals for a new initiative that will enhance several classic and contemporary apartment and condo buildings in the Hollywood and West Hollywood areas. We would love to spread the word amongst your students to gauge their interest and have them participate.
We are launching Phase One of the Arts Project with a variety of residences reflecting a range of architectural typologies and styles; and contain several paintable and sculpture-friendly areas and surfaces. We are open to ideas and looking for CREATIVITY, so our sky is your limit!
Compensation will be awarded for each project and will be determined on a case-by-case basis based on the scope and scale of the artwork, and materials required. Artists will also have the opportunity to connect their art to a charity if desired; part of the artist’s commission can be donated to that cause.
