DESCRIPTION:
The goal of our internship program is to educate college students on the day-to-day work of a Photographer and/or Photo Publicist. We provide real life learning and training opportunities for students interested in pursuing these career fields.
The photo intern will assist in
- Processing, distributing and archiving incoming imagery.
- First round photo editing.
- Pre-production shoot assistance such as conceptualization.
- Supporting desk and phone coverage.
- Assisting with office duties such as copying, faxing, filing and burning DVDs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be enrolled in a full-time accredited college or university, and be a junior, senior or graduate student. Photography major is a plus.
- Have a love of photography.
- Lighting knowledge.
- Passion for Television and the entertainment industry.
- Eager to learn and self-starter.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Skilled in Photoshop.
- Knowledge of editing systems such as Photo Mechanic is a big plus.
