SBF Artist Fellowship

The SBF Artist Fellowship represents an alliance between survivors of sexual assault and/or domestic violence and artists who seek to make an impact both in their creative pieces and their daily lives. The fellowship is the first of its kind. If selected, artists have the opportunity to have their pieces displayed in an online gallery and sold in a charity auction. All proceeds benefit the start-up nonprofit Survivor’s Best Friend, which unites shelter animals with survivors of sexual assault and/or domestic violence one adoption at a time. Open Call – 2018 FOCA Curatorial Submission

Fellows of Contemporary Art (FOCA) is a non-profit organization that supports contemporary art in California (Since 1975). FOCA Curators Lab Committee is currently accepting proposals for our 2018 Curators Lab Exhibitions, the deadline is June 16, 2017. Six finalists will be interviewed on July 22, 2017, three of those finalists will receive a $2,000 award and will have the opportunity to organize a group exhibition in our space located in Chinatown, Los Angeles.
