LCCM Spring 2024 Board Internships

Latinxs/Chicanxs for Community Medicine (LCCM) is pleased to announce its Annual Spring Board Internships for the 2024-2025 School Year. Established in 1970, LCCM aims to recruit and retain underrepresented pre-health students in higher education. Our organization provides academic, professional, and personal support to Latinx pre-health students at UCLA and beyond. LCCM members get to better understand healthcare issues in underserved communities through volunteering opportunities and weekly meetings with health professionals as guest speakers.

We are searching for motivated and passionate individuals who want to gain valuable experiences and professional development by joining one of our various LCCM Branches internships. These include our Executive Board, Student Services, Aspire Learn Mentor Achieve (ALMA) Academy, Black Latinx AIDS (BLAIDS) Project, Latino Student Health Project (LSHP), and Donation of Tissue and Organs (DoTORG) Project. This internship will last for approximately four weeks in the Spring quarter, allowing you to interview for a position on LCCM’s 2024-2025 Board of Directors. Through this internship, you will gain skills and knowledge that will help you become an effective leader in your future endeavors. ALL INDIVIDUALS, REGARDLESS OF LATINX BACKGROUND, ARE WELCOME TO APPLY. For more information on the application and how to apply: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Cd6YjgIpiRK15QJIQSJjfHg6hXDUPPPH7iAO1tawWOA/edit?usp=sharing
