“Reimagining Safety” examines the criminal justice landscape and reform proposals that have gained steam in the United States since the murder of George Floyd in 2020. We will also have a panel discussion with Solomon himself in addition to former LAPD officials, social workers, political candidates, and a UCLA African American Studies professor to discuss how policing and incarceration create more harm than good, why the system persists, and what changes can be made to make everyone safe. See poster for more details.

The first 150 people who RSVP/attend will receive FREE cookies made by Dr. Shica’s Bakery, a Black-woman owned business, and FREE dinner from Subway.
