HAG Student Worker

The Humanities Administrative Group is looking for an office assistant. The position will include clerical work such as filing/mail distribution/photocopying/scanning as well as assistance with projects/events and more. The student must feel comfortable interacting with faculty, staff, and students on a daily basis. Anticipated pay rate: $16-16.50/hr.

Qualifications:

Students with a work-study award for the 2022-23 academic year highly preferred. Previous experience with office/administrative work is helpful. Must be able to handle confidential information and present oneself in a professional manner. The position is for 10 hours per week with availability on 3 out of 5 workdays.   • Ability to use PC and Mac computers, and high level of comfort with Adobe, Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows, Outlook, and WordPress

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Available to work approximately 10 hours per week

NELC Student Worker

Position Description:

Under the supervision of the Student Affairs Officer (SAO), serve as office and programs assistant for the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures. The position will include clerical work such as filing/mail distribution/photocopying/scanning as well as assistance with projects/events, website management/content creation, and more. The student must act professional and feel comfortable interacting with faculty, staff, and students on a daily basis. Anticipated pay rate: $16-$16.50.

Qualifications:

The ideal student will have a work-study award for the 2022-23 academic year. Previous experience with office, event, and website coordination is preferred. Ability to handle confidential information and to present oneself in a professional manner is essential. The position is for 8-10 hours per week with availability on 3 out of 5 workdays, with occasional shifts on weeknights or weekends for events. Study of  Religion Student Worker

Position Description:

Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, serve as office and programs assistant for the Center for the Study of Religion. The position will include clerical work such as filing/mail distribution/photocopying/scanning as well as assistance with projects/events, website management/content creation, and more. The student must act professional and feel comfortable interacting with faculty, staff, and students on a daily basis. Anticipated pay rate: $16-$16.50.

The ideal student should have a work-study award for 2022-23 academic year. Previous experience with office, event, and website coordination is preferred. Ability to handle confidential information and to present oneself in a professional manner is essential. Comparative Literature/LGBTQ Student Worker

Position Description:

Under the supervision of the Student Services Advisor (SSA), serve as office and programs assistant for the Department of Comparative Literature and the LGBTQ Studies Program. The position will include clerical work such as filing/mail distribution/photocopying/scanning as well as assistance with projects/events, website management/content creation, and more. The student must be able to conduct themselves professionally and feel comfortable interacting with faculty, staff, and students on a daily basis. Anticipated pay rate: $16-$16.50/hr.

Qualifications:

The ideal student will have a work-study award for the 2022-23 Academic Year. Previous experience with office, event, and website coordination is preferred. The ability to handle confidential information with discretion is essential. The position is for 10-15 hours per week with availability on at least 3 out of 5 workdays.
