CALL FOR MURAL PAINTERS
Petronio Studio is seeking talented painters to execute medium-sized murals as part of an upcoming, visionary renovation of a historical residential building in Los Angeles. Images of the final project including the paintings will be featured in publications in the design and architecture sector.
The murals will include figural, classical, chiaroscuro, architectural, and biomorphic elements. Our studio will provide designs and inspiration – artists will work closely with our design directors to realize the final vision. Ideal candidates must possess strong drawing and painting skills, be able to deliver drafts, color tests on paper and/ or photoshop, be able to work in pencil, paint, and use projectors as well as work comfortably with their free hand. The final paintings will be executed on site near Downtown Los Angeles.
Candidates are encouraged to submit 5-10 clear, high resolution images of their work in .jpg format. Images should be accompanied by a brief cover letter where each candidate discusses their interests, process, experience, preferred materials, and other relevant qualifications. Adequate means of transportation to execute the work on site is strongly encouraged. Candidates must be reliable, inspired, and detail-oriented. Compensation and credit offered.
