Undergraduate Education Initiatives (UEI) programs include the Center for Community Learning, Undergraduate Student Initiated Education (USIE), Disability Studies, Social Thought, Food Studies and Entrepreneurship Minors, Freshman Clusters, Fiat Lux Freshman Seminars, Writing II curriculum, and the General Education curriculum.
Job Description:
A major part of the student’s work-load will be to assist with graphic design and marketing projects for various components of UEI programs.
Responsibilities:
- Work with UEI Academic Coordinator to design and produce: creative content, visual brand identities, and various collateral items (flyers, brochures, invitations, programs, table tents and e-blast communications) for all UEI programs
- Create graphic campaigns for social media platforms, which include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube
- Attend special events, field trips and classrooms to photograph and capture activities
Qualifications:
- Proficient or familiarity in all Adobe Creative Suite and other media (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and propose new ideas for marketing projects
Structure:
- Academic Year 2019-20 position; position begins ASAP Fall 2019
- Remote work /in person meetings: the student and supervisor will work out a schedule based on availability
- 10-20 hours per week depending on student availability/project demand
