18th Street Arts Center Video/Photography Intern

REPORTS TO: Director of Communications & Outreach

TIME COMMITMENT: Minimum 3-month commitment of 10 hours per week. Schedule is flexible.

LOCATION: Santa Monica, CA. Partial telecommuting.

COMPENSATION: Volunteer. College credit possible; check with your academic advisor to make arrangements

JOB OVERVIEW: Under the supervision of the Director of Communications & Outreach the selected candidate will expand their event photography and video portfolio. The candidate will direct, shoot, and edit short trailers and promo videos for social media. Looking for someone who understands 18th Street’s aesthetic, but can also bring some flare to producing great video assets. The ideal candidate should have their own camera and must be available one day a week for in office and some evenings and weekends for events. Please provide a portfolio, sizzle reel, social media handles or video channels along with your application.
