Taleamor Park, located in the countryside near Chicago and Lake Michigan, unexpectedly has one artist residency opening for May, either May 6-27 or May 13-27.
Taleamor’s elegant 1854 Italianate farmhouse contains two bathrooms, two kitchens, two common rooms, four private air-conditioned bedrooms, a library, a writing nook, and a paper studio.
Vintage outbuildings offer private studio spaces, and verdant walking trails wind through fields of grain to woods and ponds and scenic vistas.

There is a simple online application form ideally due six weeks before the start date, but later applications are considered whenever space remains.
June is full, but there is still one place open in May, July, August, and September.
