Kv(art)irnik is an independent organization that aims to provide an informal space for LA artists to communicate and share their work. We are inspired by the Soviet apartment exhibitions (kvartirniks), where underground artists of the time advocated for free experimental art and turned upside down the very idea of art exhibition.
