Established in 1970, LCCM aims to recruit and retain underrepresented pre-health students in higher education. Our organization provides academic, professional, and personal support to Latinx pre-health students at UCLA and beyond. LCCM members get to better understand healthcare issues in underserved communities through volunteering opportunities and weekly meetings with health professionals as guest speakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>We are searching for motivated and passionate individuals who want to gain valuable experiences and professional development by joining one of our various LCCM Branches internships. These include our <strong>Executive Board<\/strong>, <strong>Student Services<\/strong>, <strong>Aspire Learn Mentor Achieve (ALMA) Academy<\/strong>, <strong>Black Latinx AIDS (BLAIDS) Project<\/strong>, <strong>Latino Student Health Project (LSHP)<\/strong>, and <strong>Donation of Tissue and Organs (DoTORG) Project<\/strong>. This internship will last for approximately four weeks in the Spring quarter, allowing you to interview for a position on LCCM&#8217;s 2024-2025 Board of Directors.
