{"id":7789,"date":"2023-10-17T15:56:20","date_gmt":"2023-10-17T22:56:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.art.ucla.edu\/?p=7789"},"modified":"2023-10-17T15:56:20","modified_gmt":"2023-10-17T22:56:20","slug":"psaid-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jobs.art.ucla.edu\/?p=7789","title":{"rendered":"PSAid 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The 2024 PSAid, a public service announcement contest by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) kicks off in January 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PSAid contest\u202fwas\u202fdeveloped\u202f<strong>to challenge college students to\u202fproduce\u202fpublic service announcements (PSAs) that\u202fcreatively articulate why \u201cCash is Best\u201d when helping people affected by\u202femergencies and disasters overseas.<\/strong>\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students can enter as a group or individually and can produce PSAs in the following categories:\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Static Image\u202f<\/strong>\u2013 An ad that can appear in a magazine, newspaper, or online. Can include a digital ad, social graphic or infographic.\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>GIF\u202f<\/strong>\u2013 a short (10 seconds or less) animated image with no sound.\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Video\u202f<\/strong>\u2013 must be exactly 15 or 30 seconds in length.\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u202f\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More communications will follow ahead of the contest, but some key dates are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Contest submissions will be due on<strong> Monday, March 11 <\/strong>and winners will be announced the<strong> week of April 15. \u202f<\/strong>\u202f\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The<strong>\u202f<\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.com\/v3\/__https:\/www.psaid.org\/enter-the-contest\/rules-and-guidelines\/__;!!FjuHKAHQs5udqho!KrVaYRiTpIa2YNKKpLNHlYhnkbMPz4PPIWp1AqSGZYVhg2u5YPfcasiM_X_dAiz68GJXHnyuoth36RbsjlLt4RuHtU5B8p4oxOj4dMg$\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>PSAID website<\/strong><\/a>\u202fhas contest rules and guidelines as well as past winning PSAs, and a video.
