Scripps College, a women’s liberal arts college with a strong interdisciplinary tradition, invites
applications to teach one introductory level Painting course in the Fall \u201923 semester. This position
is for one semester only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Scheduled course days\/times are:
Mondays and Wednesdays: 1:15 PM-3:45 PM
\u2022 An MFA in Painting, or Art with a specialty in Painting, as well as college level teaching
experience is required.
\u2022 Applicants should possess a broad knowledge of contemporary art.
\u2022 In addition to teaching, responsibilities include budgeting and management of materials, and
maintaining the studio on teaching days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The salary for this position will range from $8,100 to $9,000 and will be set based on a variety of
factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
