San Diego International Airport\u2019s Arts Program is bringing back the Performing Arts Residency to our\u00a0terminals this fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are inviting performing arts groups, collectives, organizations, companies, and higher education performing arts departments to submit proposals for our Fall 2023 residency. The Performing Arts Residency Program supports the development and public performance of new work to offer artists an opportunity and space to create and rehearse new material while providing patrons of SAN with a unique opportunity for interaction through the performing arts. The program supports the Airport\u2019s purpose to deliver an exceptional airport experience and extend its Good Feelings, Nonstop brand. This process-oriented residency is open to contemporary performing artists in all disciplines and cross-disciplinary media including digital performance and projection. Examples of programming may include local, regional, and international music, modern, traditional, or ethnic dance, as well as theatrical productions inspired by or developed in response to the airport setting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
