In hope of promoting sustained service and advocacy efforts among Bruins, USAC’s Community Service Commission is organizing SERVOCACY FEST<\/strong> this Friday, October 14<\/strong> from 1pm to 3pm<\/strong> at Bruin Plaza<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will feature 15 student groups who will each host interactive activities and games for you to find out more about important social justice issues as well as relevant resources or opportunities for you to get started on service. Some of the activities include making origami for care packages designed for the houseless community, writing cards for the patients of St Jude, learning about educational disparities, neurodiversity, the brain injury community, issues regarding incarceration and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
