The Art Department\u00a0seeks an artist accomplished in Social Design whose work shows potential to attain national and international recognition and impact, and bridges the gap between art, design and technology while demonstrating a commitment to the environment and a just and sustainable future.\u00a0 The BA program in Art is an interdisciplinary program.\u00a0 Art majors are encouraged to study a variety of courses within the Art Department as well as in other departments.\u00a0 Faculty in this position will be teaching students with visual arts backgrounds as well as\u00a0students who study ecology, environmental studies and other fields related to\u00a0Social Design.\u00a0 The chosen candidate will also teach in our new MFA program in Environmental Art and Social Practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
