We are\u00a0CarterBooks<\/em><\/strong>, an\u00a0Eduential LLC<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0partner. The\u00a0CarterBooks Illustrator Contest\u00a0<\/strong>was established to encourage young illustrators to take their first steps into their art profession by offering winners, a book series partnership where their illustrations are included in published works.<\/p>\n

This year’s theme is: \u201cCHILDREN’S PICTURE BOOK<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

DESIGN RULES:<\/strong>\u00a0Artists can enter any original work that brings the following passage to life:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

CJ opens his eyes in the darkness of his room. Thinks to himself, did I wake to soon?<\/em><\/p>\n

He calls out, “Daaaaadddddyyyy” and guess who comes in\u2026 It\u2019s his Mommy. She is tall and thin.<\/em><\/p>\n

Mommy hugs him good morning then says, \u201cMr. Potty is calling.\u201d CJ says, \u201cNooo\u201d and begins stalling.<\/em><\/p>\n

SUBMISSION RULES:<\/strong>\u00a0Each artist can submit up to one (1) artwork package to illustrate the passage. All entries must be submitted using the online\u00a0Entry Form<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong>Entry fee ($25<\/strong>) is due at time of submission.<\/p>\n
