The Corporate & Foundation Partnerships Team accepts applications for interns on an ongoing basis following the academic calendar.<\/p>\n
Description\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The Partnerships Team works with major corporations and foundations to raise critical funds for the museum\u2019s key functions including; exhibitions, collection conservation, educational programs (such as music, film and technology), special projects, and annual events. The Partnerships intern will gain first-hand experience in each step of the development process from prospecting to cultivation and solicitation, all the way through to fulfillment of foundation grants and corporate sponsorships. The intern will also have the unique opportunity to experience LACMA\u2019s Corporate Partners Evening and other special events.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Minimum Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n This non-compensatory, part-time internship is appropriate for upper division students currently enrolled in undergraduate studies, graduate school, or recent graduates with experience in communications, art history, business development, or marketing, and are interested in learning about non-profit arts development, specifically in a museum setting. Experience with a database management system such as Raiser\u2019s Edge is preferred but not required.
